Cyber Security Crisis Communications

Following her talk at the recent Channel Islands Information Security Forum (CIISF) Annual Guernsey Conference regarding the serious impact a data breach can have on reputation, Nichole Culverwell, Director at Black Vanilla, will explain the steps organisations should take to be ready to communicate well if a breach occurs.

This workshop will help information security professionals, technology officers and cybersecurity advisers to understand how to successfully incorporate communications planning into their cybersecurity strategy and preparedness.

The objective of crisis communications planning is to create a framework for best response, and therefore to minimise the reputational damage.

During the session, Nichole will introduce crisis communications planning techniques such as risk scoring, stakeholder mapping, key message development and the basic principles of confident crisis communications.
