Support Engineer


Our client is looking to recruit a Support Engineer / Development Operations candidate to join their team which provide technical support for the their key system analysing market risk data and suite of services associated with it.


Key tasks and responsibilities will include:

•             Task automation (script coding)

•             Develop helper tools and scripts

•             Cooperate with other internal teams owning tools and providing services

•             Work with release manager, business analysts and developers

•             Support releases, updates and maintenance

•             Make required configuration changes in production Systems, QA and dev systems

•             Monitor and support test infrastructure

•             Advise on changes to production environment to avoid future issues and to streamline its operation

•             Share knowledge with less experienced team member


The desirable candidate will have 5+ years of experience in a similar position, experience with continuous integration tools (e.g. TeamCity or similar), have at least basic coding skills, scripting (e.g. Python, Bash or similar), previous experience with version control systems (e.g. SVN, Git or similar) and have practical knowledge of SQL.
